view pictures "NAU Rock Climbing" Flagstaff,AZ Twin Towers (Dec, 2002)
When my cousin and his buddies are not tearing up front end shocks mountain biking down the trails in Flagstaff, Arizona, they're out rock climbing on a variety of cliffs within an hour of NAU. Here is a few pics sent in to give you a taste of the variety they have between limestone, basalt, diorite, and sandstone. Here's a picture of Dustin using a hand jam deep in a crack. While the jam might stick well, it nearly broke his arm since it is difficult to slip the arm out if you fall! Thanks for the pics Dutin! Oh, and Josh, nice spotting man.
